Project Description

project brief

Our client was a biomedical company interested in opening a US based office. The company headquarters are in London, England.

A former client recommended us for this project. The biomedical company was interested in exploring office space in Boca Raton, FL. We met with the company and walked through an office space that they found interesting.

conceptual design to explore new offices

We completed conceptual design that reflected the company brand using a bold color scheme and dramatic interplay of color throughout the office interior. Color was used to define the three desired office areas for Sales, Marketing and Training.  For an interactive component, we designed a reception area wall with digital display panels.

A collaborative workspace in the center of the office was proposed. Private offices for permanent and visiting employees were designed with glass panels for visual communication between employees.

Along with the bold color scheme, neon signage was designed to show the location of each department in a bright and colorful manner.

challenges we’ve faced

This project presented interesting challenges in designing an office space for a virtual team that planned to meet on a regular basis. A primary function was sales and training, which was the reason for the team to have in-person meetings. Collaborative areas and open space planning were main design requirements.
